Hard Rock Cafe Atlantic CityAtlantic City's Hard Rock Cafe resides in a truly unmistakable building that resembles the Taj Mahal: fitting, because it's located in the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino. This purely whimsical establishment was opened in 1996 and is the self-proclaimed "rockin'est joint on the boardwalk". Like other Hard Rock Cafes, rich carpentry takes center stage and one-of-a-kind exhibits are on display on the walls. The silver space-man costume worn by Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley during the "Kiss Alive" tour in 1975, a Schecter Telecaster guitar owned by The Who's Pete Townshend and Buddy Holly's sixth-grade yearbook are just some of the impressive items on display at the Atlantic City Hard Rock Cafe. Start off your HRC culinary experience by selecting one of the menu's tempting appetizers. The Santa Fe Spring Rolls, stuffed with black beans, corn, spinach, cilantro, jalepenos, red peppers and jack cheese and served with the HRC's guacamole-chipotle ranch dressing; and the Tupelo Chicken Tenders, dipped in Classic Rock, Heavy Metal or Tangy BBQ sauce, are both excellent choices. For your main entree, try an order of the Hard Rock's famous fajitas, made with your choice of steak or chicken (or a combination of the two), pico de gallo, jack and cheddar cheese, guacamole and warm flour tortillas; aged New York strip steak aged 21 days and grilled to perfection with white cheddar smashers; Twisted mac, chicken and cheese with cavatappi pasta in a three-cheese sauce with garlic, red peppers, romano cheese and crunchy breadcrumbs; grilled Alaskan salmon with merlot-garlic butter and cheddar smashers; or hickory smoked barbecued ribs or chicken in HRC's famous smoky-sweet barbecue sauce. All are sure to satisfy your taste buds. A large variety of freshly-cooked burgers, sandwiches and salads are also available for those with lighter appetites. Don't forget to leave room for dessert: fresh apple cobbler with Haagen Dazs vanilla bean ice cream and hot caramel sauce and a hot fudge brownie sundae with chocolate sprinkles, walnuts and whipped cream are the perfect ending to your HRC meal.
